CosmicExplosions 2026
27–31 July 2026 · Ryle Room, KICC, Cambridge
CosmicExplosions 2026 is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants, regardless of career stage, background, gender, ethnicity, nationality, or any other characteristic. All attendees are expected to uphold the following principles throughout the workshop.
Treat all participants with courtesy and respect. This applies equally in talks, discussions, hallway conversations, and social events. Differences in career stage, methodology, or scientific viewpoint are not grounds for dismissiveness.
Robust scientific debate is not only welcome but encouraged. Challenge arguments with evidence and reason. Personal attacks, condescension, or dismissive language directed at individuals are not acceptable.
Be mindful of how much space you take in discussions. Actively invite contributions from others, especially early-career participants. If you notice someone struggling to contribute, help open the floor to them.
Harassment includes but is not limited to: discriminatory comments, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, sustained disruption of talks or discussions, and inappropriate sexual attention. Such behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the workshop.
Unpublished results and ideas shared in sessions stay in the room. Do not share, attribute, or discuss them publicly without the explicit permission of the person who shared them.
